Extended case note: Researcher’s reading list

Client: Helen Marsh, MSc candidate studying decentralised infrastructure
Service: One-to-One Terminology Session + Starter Written Brief
Challenge: Helen’s supervisor assigned twelve papers on Solana’s consensus model. She understood the broad arguments but could not follow the terminology in the methodology sections.

What we did: In a 60-minute session, we worked through her annotated PDFs, defining 34 terms live. She then commissioned a Starter brief covering the 25 most frequent terms across all twelve papers.

Outcome: Helen submitted her literature review on schedule. She noted that the brief became a shared reference among three students in her cohort.

Extended case note: Community workshop

Client: A Manchester-based technology meetup group (11 members)
Service: Private Group Workshop (two sessions)
Challenge: Members wanted to understand Solana ecosystem announcements but lacked shared vocabulary.

What we did: Two 90-minute workshops — first covering network and wallet basics, second covering tokens and ecosystem categories. Each participant received the group glossary PDF.

Outcome: The group reported more productive discussion at subsequent meetups. Two members later booked individual staking primers.
